Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Setu Manager is software for CSC and SETU centers, owned and operated by SETU MANAGER, a sole proprietorship registered as an MSME under Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-MH-05-0027468, Proprietor Shriram Rajendra Sanap, at Ganesh Nivas, Main Road, Patoda, Dist. Beed, Maharashtra 414204, India.

In this policy, "we", "us" and "Setu Manager" mean the above business. "You" means the center owner, operator or customer who uses our software or website. This policy applies to the website www.setumanager.com, the Setu Manager desktop application and the Setu Manager Android application.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

• Account details — your name, mobile number, email address, center or shop name, address and login credentials, collected when you register or request a demo.
• Business details — center logo, list of services, pricing, GST number (if you enter one) and other settings you configure inside the software.
• Your customers' details — names, mobile numbers, addresses, dates of birth, service records, invoices and documents that you choose to enter or upload while serving your own customers.
• Payment details — subscription plan, transaction reference, amount and payment status. Card, UPI and net-banking credentials are handled entirely by our payment gateway; we never see or store them.
• Support messages — anything you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Device and licence information, such as a device identifier used to enforce the number of PCs allowed on your plan.
• Application version, last login date, and basic error or diagnostic logs used to fix problems.

3. How we use your information

• To create and operate your account, and to give you access to the features included in your plan.
• To generate invoices, ID cards, reports and other documents you ask the software to produce.
• To process subscription payments, renewals and licence validation.
• To send service messages — billing confirmations, payment reminders, expiry reminders, update notices and support replies.
• To provide customer support and troubleshoot technical issues.
• To improve stability, performance and features of the software.
• To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations in India.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, or your customers' information, to anyone.

4. WhatsApp messaging and consent

When you register for Setu Manager or share your mobile number with us, you consent to receive WhatsApp messages from us relating to your account — registration confirmation, invoices and receipts, payment and renewal reminders, work-completion updates, support replies, and occasional information about new features or offers.

The software also lets you send WhatsApp messages to your own customers — bills, payment reminders, work-completion updates and greetings. When you use this feature:

• You are responsible for obtaining your customer's consent before adding their number and messaging them.
• You must send only messages that relate to a genuine service you are providing to that customer.
• You must comply with WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy and applicable Indian law.
• We process the customer numbers and message content only to deliver the message you asked us to send, and to show you its delivery status.

WhatsApp messages are delivered through Meta Platforms, Inc. Their handling of message data is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy terms.

5. Sharing your information

We share information only where it is necessary to run the service:

• Cloud hosting and database — Google Firebase (Google LLC), where account data and records are stored.
• Messaging — the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta Platforms, Inc., to deliver WhatsApp messages.
• Payments — our payment gateway partner, to process subscription payments securely.
• Legal — government, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities where we are required to disclose information by law.

These providers may process data outside India. We share only what is required for them to perform their function.

6. Data retention

• Account and business data is kept for as long as your account is active.
• After you close your account or your subscription lapses, we keep your data for up to 12 months so that you can restore your center if you return, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
• Invoices, payment records and tax documents are retained for up to 8 years where Indian tax and accounting law requires it.
• WhatsApp conversation copies shown inside the software are retained only for a short operational window and are cleared automatically.
• You may ask us to delete your data sooner — see section 8.

7. How we protect your data

Access to your account is protected by your login credentials, and data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to stored data is restricted by server-side security rules so that a center can read only its own records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the activity of any operator you give access to.

8. Your rights and choices

• Access and correction — you can view and edit most of your data directly in the software, or ask us for a copy.
• Deletion — you can ask us to delete your account and associated data, subject to records we must keep by law.
• Withdraw consent — you can opt out of WhatsApp messages at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.
• Grievance — you may raise any privacy concern with us using the contact details below.

To exercise any of these rights, write to admin@setumanager.com or message us on WhatsApp at +91 96979 14646. We will respond within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days.

9. Children

Setu Manager is a business tool and is not intended for use by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Cookies and local storage

Our website and web application use browser local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continuing to use Setu Manager after a change means you accept the updated policy.
